My Next Webinar - Seizing the CCaaS Opportunity, with CoreDial

It’s been a busy time for webinars, and I’ve got a new one coming - Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 2pm ET.

This is another event hosted by Channel Partners Online, with CoreDial being the sponsor. I’ve worked with CoreDial in the past, and hope you’ll join us as we talk about making the case for CCaaS, particularly for MSPs, who are becoming a growing force in cloud communications, especially among SMBs. Details are here, including the registration form.

My Next Webinar - CCaaS Channel Opportunity for SMBs, with CoreDial

I’ve been doing a fair number of webinars lately, and the next one is on the hot topic of CCaaS - contact center as a service.. This time around, the sponsor is CoreDial, and it’s being hosted by Channel Partners Online.

Aside from providing my own perspectives, I’ll be reviewing highlights from some recent research by CoreDial about how channel players are approaching the contact center market with SMB customers. Lots to talk about, and I hope you can join us on Wednesday, December 11 at 2pm ET. More details are here, along with the registration form.

My Next Webinar - with Nextiva - Selling On-Prem SMBs to Cloud

This is the second webinar on my November calendar at the moment, and this one is in partnership with Channel Partners, sponsored by Nextiva. I’ve followed Nextiva for a few years, and they’re one of the leading cloud providers, especially in the SMB space. They know what it takes to support SMBs, and for this webinar, I’ll provide an industry perspective on both the challenges and opportunities for channels to move their customers to the cloud.

The webinar is two weeks out - Tuesday, November 19 at 2:30 ET - and all the details for registration are here. I hope you can join us!

My Next Webinar - with PGi - UCaaS and SMB Customer Service

This post is for a webinar I’m doing with PGi, and it’s hosted by TechTalk Summits. The full title is Why UCaaS is Essential for Solving SMB Customer Service Issues, and after my presentation, I’ll be joined by Joel Kappes, PGi’s VP of Global Implementation Services.

Details are here, including a link to the registration page, and I hope you can join us. The date is Wednesday, November 20 at 1pm ET.

Next Webinar - Tomorrow: 3 Collaboration Trends for 2019

One more shout-out for my next Ziff Davis webinar - it’s tomorrow, Thursday, Feb 7 at 2 ET. The theme will be 3 collaboration trends to watch for 2019, and I hope you can join us. Registration details are here, and if you can’t make it, a replay will be available soon after.

My Next Webinar - 3 Collaboration Themes for 2019

The new year is well underway now, and I continue keeping busy on all fronts. One of those is doing webinars, and it’s time for my next one with Ziff Davis. If you don’t know, I’ve been writing regularly for them - via their IT Toolbox portal - for many years, and that also gives rise for me to do webinars, usually quarterly. My writing has scaled back with them - for a few years, I was producing three original posts every week - to one post a week, but that still provides plenty of coverage to support my webinars.

It’s still early in the year, and this time around, I’ll help set the stage for by looking at three themes that will drive collaboraiton in 2019. The webinar runs Thursday, Feb. 7, and if that catches your interest, I hope you can join me. Here are the details, and it just takes a minute to register.

My Q&A, Interviewed by 8x8

As my catch-up day progresses, here’s my next post, and it’s a follow-on from the shout-out earlier today about tomorrow’s webinar with 8x8.

To support that, they did a Q&A with me, mostly about the state of collaboration, and what to look for in our upcoming webinar. If you haven’t seen that yet, here it is, and from there, I hope you make plans to join us tomorrow.

Webinar Shout-Out with 8x8 - Tomorrow - Leveraging the Cloud for Collaboration

Time sure flies, and after three events last month, I’ve got a backlog of blog posts to get done. Here’s the most pressing one - my webinar tomorrow at 2 ET. The webinar is based on my about-to-be-published white paper for 8x8, and I’ll be joined by one of their customers for some first-hand insights about how the cloud is helping SMBs collaborate more effectively. Details are here, and I hope you can join us.

My Next Webinar - Death of the PBX

October is zooming along, and this will be my third webinar for the month, so things have been pretty busy lately.

This time around, it’s another Ziff Davis/Toolbox.com webinar, with a topic that anyone in the telephony space should be interested in. For digital natives, the PBX has about as much utility as a fax machine or a home phone line, so Captain Obvious isn’t needed here. For everyone else, however, the PBX is still a mainstay, and the installed base - for better or worse - is still pretty large.

While the vendors aren’t making ‘em any more, the IP phone business is still going strong, so the “death” thing is a bit overstated. That’s the setup for my webinar, and if you want in, here’s the registration page. We’re doing this next Tuesday - Oct. 30 - at 2pm, and hope you can join us.

Next Webinar with Genesys - Exploring Options for Moving to the Cloud

Onwards and Cloudwards is how Genesys is framing the topic, and it should be a good one. These are heady times for the contact center, as the case for moving to the cloud seems to get stronger by the day. There’s still lots to think about, and to do this right, you need a plan. If you’re in that situation now, this is the webinar for you.

My followers will know that I’ve been doing several webinars lately, and this topic has definitely been keeping me busy. For this webinar, Genesys is the sponsor, and following my presentation, I’ll be joined by Barbara Gonzalez, their VP of Global Business Consulting.

Full details are here on the registration page, and if you’re coming, save the date - Wed, Oct.3 at 2pm ET. Genesys has been doing a great job promoting this on their channels, and I’ll be keeping that vibe going as we get closer to the date.

July 31 Webinar with Jive - Digital Transformation and Collaboration

My last blog post was for an upcoming webinar with Ziff Davis/Toolbox.com, but I'm doing another one with them before that.

This one has come together on a shorter timetable, but it's another topic I think you'll find of interest. It's also a Ziff Davis/Toolbox.com event, but this time with a sponsor - Jive Software. That name should still register for collaboration followers, but about a year ago, the company was acquired by Aurea.

I'll be the sole presenter, with topic being digital transformation and how it can help collaboration solutions/technologies bring new value to enterprises. I should add that this engagement entails two webinars, and details will be coming soon about Part 2, scheduled for September.

Until then, I hope you can join us, next Tuesday, July 31. All the details are here, and registration just takes a moment.

My Next Webinar: Workplace Implications for Digital Technologies

It's time for another Ziff Davis/Toolbox.com webinar, scheduled now for Tuesday, August 14. The topic is based on select findings drawn from Internet Trends 2018, an annual, public report on the state of the web, produced by Kleiner Perkins.

Regular followers will know that I've written about some aspects of the report, and my subscribers also have access to a podcast I did about it, along with colleague Chris Fine. If that's of interest to non-subscribers, you can sign up here, and the podcast is featured in the my current newsletter.

There's a great deal to explore in Mary Meeker's slide set, and for my webinar, I'll be focusing on some specific takeaways and data points around how digital technologies are impacting the workplace. I hope you can join me, and all it takes is providing a few contact details here on the registration page.

The New Voice - My Next Webinar

Time's short for this one, but am doing another webinar with Ziff Davis. It's next Tuesday, March 20 at 2pm ET. Just finishing up my presentation now, and as the title implies, it's about the "New Voice", a broad trend that is being driven by the cloud, and emerging AI capabilities. There's a lot to talk about - no pun intended - and if you follow my work, you'll have a good idea of what to expect. I hope you can join me, and all the details to register are here.

Next Webinar - Messaging - the New Driver for Collaboration

Time for another Ziff Davis webinar, and this is a topic I've been focused on for a while now. Messaging has kind of come out of nowhere to become an important driver in the collaboration space, and I'll explore that further during the webinar.

The date is coming up fast - next week - it's Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 2 ET. Hope you can join us, and all the details are here on the registration page.

My Next Webinar - Digital Assistants for Collaboration and Customer Care

I've been doing webinars with Ziff Davis on a steady basis lately, and the next one is about digital assistants. This is another way of saying chatbots, and what I'm really talking about is the emergence of conversational interfaces as a way to leverage AI to make both collaboration and customer care more effective.

There's a lot to explore here, and I'll be providing an overview of current trends and opportunities based on my current research in this space. The webinar is next Tuesday, August 22 at 2pm ET, and I hope you can make it. As always, Ziff Davis webinars are free, and you can register here.

Final Shout-Out for My Next Webinar - Is Slack UC?

When I'm not travelling and writing, I'm doing webinars. My next one is tomorrow - Feb. 21 at 2pm ET, and all the details are here. I've been writing a lot recently about the impact Slack and their ilk are having on the collaboration space, and have distilled much of that into a webinar format. There's lots to talk about, and I hope you can join me!

September/October Writing Roundup

Been a very busy stretch lately, and for some reason, I missed my writing roundup for September. It's a while ago at this point, but there are still some posts you may find of interest if you didn't see them. If you follow me, you'll know most of my posts aren't super time-sensitive.

My focus is more on industry-based trends, and very little on breaking news. I just don't move that fast, and it's surprising how many requests I get from PR reps who think that's what I do. Enough about that - here are the highlights of my writing over the past two months, and I hope you find some things here that you like.

My Next Webinar - Machine Learning and Utility Asset Management

Time flies when you're busy!

Last week I was at the SCTC conference and between speaking and playing music with the SIPtones, I didn't get any blogging done. Just getting a free moment to blog now, and while it's short notice, I have another webinar to tell you about.

Actually, I have three webinars coming up before year end, and will have posts coming soon on the other two.

Tomorrow's webinar has me wearing my Smart Grid hat with Zpryme, and I'll be moderating on the topic of machine learning and  how it's impacting the way utilities build and monitor their power networks.

Very similar issues to the service provider space, actually, and am looking forward to it. Joining me will be executives from Spark Cognition and Duke Fossil and Nuclear - all the details are here, and it's not too late to register!

My Next Webinar - 5 Business Problems Addressed by UC

I do a lot of webinars, and it's time for the next one. This is another webinar with Ziff Davis, and it's coming up - next Thursday, July 28 at 2pm ET. Wanted to post about this sooner, but with the cutover to my new website/blog, I haven't been able to do that until now.

This time around, my focus will be on the business problems that UC addresses. It's easy to get caught up in the technical aspects of UC, but it's much more than a technology update. I've identified 5 business problems, and during the webinar I'll explain those further, along with what UC brings to the table as a solution. Here's the registration page, and I hope you can join us!
